To another exciting year of family football fun! Or frustration, especially when it comes to the Knockout Pool. You should be familiar with the rules by now. You pick one NFL team to win their game each week. If your team wins, you advance to the next week; if they lose, you are eliminated from the pool. You are only allowed to pick a team once throughout the season. If\when you lose a week, you can choose to buy back in for $25 up til week 8. The person who goes the longest takes home all the cash.

The weekly pool is done through CBS sports, $5 per week, the weekly winning amount will depend on the number of “players”. The overall is $20 to enter and we will have 3 winners this year for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. So the total to send to the banker should be $120, if you are in all 3 pools. ($90 – weekly, $20 – Overall, $10 – knockout)

Update: we have 15 players, so the payout is $75 per week. If everyone is in the overall, then the payouts will be $200 for 1st, $80 for 2nd and $20 for 3rd. Hopefully, this will give some incentive when we get to the end of the year
